Disneyland is the famous American theme park in
Anaheim, California, owned and operated by the
Walt Disney Parks and Resorts division of The
Walt Disney Company. It opened on July 17, 1955,
in ceremonies led by Walt Disney. The park has
been so far visited by more than 550 million guests.
The sprawling park has five theme areas namely
Main Street, U.S.A., an early 20th century Midwest
town, Adventure land, featuring jungle adventures
like Frontier land, illustrating the western frontiers,
Fantasyland, bringing fantasy into a reality and
Tomorrow land, looking into the future. The Disneyland

houses cartoon character such as the Mickey Mouse
and Minnie Mouse. It is also home to Goofy's Bounce

Disneyland provides live entertainment throughout
the park apart from the attractions. You can
find Disney characters, who greet visitors,
interact with children, and pose for photos
throughout the park.
The granddaddy of all theme parks is still
one of the most popular. The Disneyland experience
is a retelling of a popular Disney story: a
ride through Snow White's house or the Pirates
of the Caribbean’s lair or careening through
the Temple of Doom.
